The Nathomon

The Nathomon are distant cousins of the Harkon, their bodies are made up of corded muscle and their skin hues range from red to dark purple. They are monstrous in form and in strength. Nathomon frequently travel as small war parties in the desert regions of the Red Sands and the Dahnari. They are volatile creatures and consider the flesh of other mortal races a delicacy. Natural hunters, they often ambush their prey and attempt to disable them with poisons and bludgeoning weapons to bring them down in order to preserve the flesh to be eaten at a later time.

# of Attacks: Spear 1D10+3 Puncturing (5), Truncheon 1D6+6 Crushing (5), Stun (1).
​Special Abilities: 
​When If a target is struck with the truncheon they must save vs fortitude or be become stunned for 1D4 rounds.

Higher ranking Nathomon will often carry poisons and nets with them to more easily trap their prey. There is a 10% chance of a higher ranking Nathomon being present in a group of 3-5, and a 50% chance of a higher ranking Nathomon being present in a group of 6 or more. On a successful spear attack, the target must save vs fortitude or become poisoned, causing their strength, constitution and dexterity to be reduced by 1D6 for the remainder of the encounter.

The Basilisk

The Basilisk is a legendary creature that resides in the Trackless Front on the continent of Ufuru. Cruel, evil and with a desire to consume all living things, the basilisk is an extremely dangerous foe. Believed to be the most poisonous creature on Ohr, its bite is capable of felling even the stoutest of men. Its devilish gaze kills plant life, shatters stone, and petrifies any mortal looking directly at the creature. The creatures blood is so toxic that if even a drop were to touch a man's skin, he would surely perish within minutes. There are only three known Basilisks in all of Ohr, all of whom call the Trackless Front their home.

# of Attacks: Bite attack 2D12!+4 puncturing 10, Tail Sweep 3D6!+6 crushing 10.
​Special Abilities:

Save versus magic or target becomes petrified, the only known cure is the eye of a basilisk, but it cannot be the eye of the basilisk that inflicted the petrification. 
​
Save versus fortitude against successful bite attack,  failed save causes the target to take an additional 8D6 poison damage. If this damage reduces the target to zero wounds they die.  On a successful save the target takes 4D6 poison damage. If this damage reduces the target to zero wounds they die.
